Someone sent you a Golden Moment

I remember what we prayed for When the world was closing in I was standing in the wreckage Of a life I couldn’t mend Every promise felt like distant thunder Every road came to an end I had questions without answers Had a heart too tired to fight But somewhere in that long surrender Something kept me through the night I was smiling for the pictures While my world was falling down Putting pieces back together Where nobody else could see the ground But I kept a little candle Even when the wind blew strong Didn’t know how much I needed Just one reason to hold on We were asking for a miracle We were reaching through the pain Never knowing every sunrise Was a gift we couldn’t name When Heaven heard us When our voices barely rose When we couldn’t see tomorrow And the road was all unknown We were never out of reach We were never left alone Now the tears that once were falling Are the seeds of joy we’ve grown Oh, when Heaven heard us Love was leading us back home!
